The Mission Lab is a dedicated scientific support team, working together with a specific structure to facilitate designing, testing, scaling-up and deployment capacities from core biomedical research at GIMM. This structure was initially set up during the COVID-19 pandemic as the Molecular Diagnostics Centre, with a professional, agile clinical testing operation allowing the institute to take a leading role in testing deployment at the national level.

At GIMM CARE the Mission Lab was reshaped to support new Research & Innovation in the implementation phase, helping to deliver new preventive, diagnostic and personalized medicine solutions, and now has a pivotal role in supporting the clinical research develop at GIMM the Multicentric Research Hub, both investigator initiative trials and pharma sponsored trials.
