The development of tailored training and mentoring strategies for professionals conducting clinical and translational researcher is the backbone of CARE strategy. By focusing on specific topics identified through continuous needs assessment, CARE Training programmes capacitate the most critical resource within the bench to bedside continuum – people.
Biobank Week 2026
Who: Healthcare professionals and researchers, technicians, postgraduate students, and all those seeking a deeper and up-to-date understanding of biobanks. Some sessions in Portuguese and open to the general public.
What: A collaborative knowledge-sharing initiative designed to explore best practices in biobanking for biomedical research. Promoted by GIMM CARE, the School of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, Biobank Week aims to foster discussion, harmonization and innovation in approaches to biobanking.
